RS Industries uses a controlled heat treatment process to benefit the working life of agriculture, industrial, automobile, and other machinery and spare part components. The metals and alloys are heated at a high temperature without reaching the point in this process. Then, our experts shape them and impart physical properties, such as increased surface hardness, strength, and temperature resistance, according to the client’s needs.
We use the following heat treatments for metals and machinery components to give them unique characteristics: Case hardening and toughening- the most common heat treatment process used to toughen or harden metals. Carburizing - metals are heated in the presence of carbon-bearing substances, which are absorbed like charcoal by the metal. - carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen are diffused to create a tough layer of surface on the metals. Nitriding - an adequate amount of nitrogen is diffused to harden the surface of titanium, aluminum, and steel. Induction heat treatment - metals are heated through electromagnetic induction and then quenched to harden.
The firm is well-known for supplying high-quality machine components to Original Equipment Manufacturer and supplier industries.
